Introduction
This group sound amazing. I love to be around people who are willing to exercize their brains more than a little now and then. I'm a writer, editor, and science geek, and I'm moving to NYC in September.
How did you become interested in philosophy?
I'm a natural born debater. I love to look at all sides of an issue before I form a strong opinion on it.
What topics interest you the most?
Science, religion, cognition, politics... damn near everything. :)
Can you summarize your philosophical outlook in 50 words or less?
That's a tall order. Well, with my science background, I suppose I come from the rational-epiricist/materialist/reductionist tradition, but I'm open minded enough to consider all options on the table.
