I am an Internet entrepeneur (cliched, I know!) and still very much a workaholic. Am a proud Duke alum - no more lacrosse jokes, finally! Moved to NYC in the summer of 2006 and am still learning my way around the city :-)
Have loved to debate just about ever since I learned to talk - just ask my mom! Was an engineering major in school; so a lot of NY Phi members run circles around me :-)
Politics, religion, history
Am a staunch conservative who is not religious - figure that one out :-). Would best pigeonhole myself as an ardent humanist.

"For a reason event, could see a debate format with 2-3 on each side, moderated. Several members could be invited to participate (Steve, myself, others for 'con', David, others for 'pro'). Interesting."
"Steve, I am on your side of this (in spite of the fact that NY Phi is a proud member of the Reasonable New York coalition of secular/philosophy groups)...."
"His Excellency President for Life Field Marshal Al Hadji Dr...."
"Religion has almost nothing to do with the first topic. It will sound weird at first, but I guarantee it won't be boring. It is a phenomenon that I think has been an underappreciated influencer on the spread of evil throughout history."
