Introduction

My name is Jose, I am a Regional Business Manager for a small Start up. I am single without children, live on Long Island but spend most of my time in the city of New York for business reasons.

How did you become interested in philosophy?

I'm named Jose Jones so I've started life with many saying: wierd name! sounds contradictory! So, I guess Spanish 1st names is the exact opposite of Welsh names on this planet. I've hoped that philosphy proposes less stupid concerns & Questions.

What topics interest you the most?

Interested in travel, Science, world economies, foreign affairs, Latin Dance, NPR, oh yea and does life have any purpose whatsoever or are we just complicated carbon specks floating through space in a meaningless journey to eventual non-existence.

Can you summarize your philosophical outlook in 50 words or less?

I''ve long had a belief that reason trumps B.S. every time. But it may be true that we humans are about as reasonable & logical as exotic parakeets in a cage. So maybe reason is not a worthy goal after all, (ahhh fuck-it lets dance and drink).

Additional Information

"Would like to make thoughtful friends. I fear my mind may have been corrupted over the years by the musings of endless TV sitcoms and their various theme music. Yet I am still interested in the world without taking too many things seriously."
