Introduction

Recently got out of college and moved to the city. I'm excited to meet some interesting people here with similar passions.

How did you become interested in philosophy?

Raised religious but encouraged to ask questions, I former slowly unraveled for me as a result of the latter. As time went on, I filled the gaps I kept finding with philosophy I'd read academically or independently. Is it still Theseus' ship?

What topics interest you the most?

social theory, philosophy of mind, logic, metaethics, epistemology, but mostly I'm interested in new and challenging stuff outside of my comfort zone.

Can you summarize your philosophical outlook in 50 words or less?

neo-classical pragmatism cum functionalist physicalism cum phenomenology cum Bayesian epistemology cum moral internalism, hopped up on too much Nietzsche and in search of a social theory (hopeful for Habermas)
