Have lived in NY for 5+ years. Enjoy events that combine meeting new people with an activity I love - which includes engaging, non banal conversation :)

How did you become interested in philosophy?

was a liberal arts/psych major and, later, lawyer. Practicing law was not especially philosphical but law school was. Interested in all the "oligies" - pschology, sociology, etc

What topics interest you the most?

Open: like issues of nature vs nurture, privacy vs public/social good, the meaning of happiness, death, cultural similarities/differences

Can you summarize your philosophical outlook in 50 words or less?

Engaged, passionate, curious. want to learn about the views of others in part to better develop my own views.
